bacetti

As part of a major adaptive reuse overhaul of an existing 1920s masonry and bow truss building, the spatial requirements for Bacetti’s dining room, display kitchen, and food storage proved to be at the forefront of the design brief. As a result, the existing ground-level concrete slab was demolished and a new 2,000 square foot basement was constructed within the confines of the nearly ninety year old walls.

As both the architect and the property’s developer, the design team deliberately chose to locate all back-of-house functions in the new basement, freeing up the entire first floor for customer-facing experiences. Rich tones, natural materials, and bold statement pieces surround diners for a memorable and considered culinary experience.
